

Robert
Libby
was born in San Fernando, California. Bob graduated from
South
Portland High School in 1977. Yes, he’s a red riot!
Attended the University of Maine at Orono and graduated in
1982 with a BS in Forestry
Once back home, Bob was hired by Berry Huff McDonald Milligan
Engineers (BH2M) in Gorham, Maine as the lead grunt (1985). Bob became a
licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in 1990 and has been there
for over 22 years and have worked his way up to Department
Head.
Bob lives in Old Orchard Beach, Maine and can be found most weekends on a golf course spanking the little white ball.
Vice President Wayne T. Wood
Wayne
T. Wood,
PLS was born in Portland, Maine in 1956 and attended University of Maine
Orono from 1974 – 1978 achieving an associate degree in Civil
Engineering and a B.S. in Surveying Engineering.
He has surveyed in both Maine and Alaska, (where he met and
married his wife, Kathy) since 1978 and has been licensed in Maine since
1987.
He established Wayne T. Wood & Co in 1989 and currently surveys with
his wife and son, Jeffery.Wayne has two grown children (daughter, Jess and son, Jeff) and two grandchildren. Wayne has been a member of MSLS and the Narragansett Chapter of MSLS since 1987; he was president of Narragansett in 1990 and treasurer from 1991 – 2000 and has been a member of MSLS’s Executive Committee since 2008. He is currently a member of Gray’s Ordinance Review Committee and a lieutenant in Gray’s volunteer fire department and enjoys farming, ice hockey, camping and fire fighting in his spare time

He has been a member of the Maine Society of Land Surveyors from
1987-present and Androscoggin
Fred
Nehring
undertook land surveying as a second career.
Previously as a New Yorker,
Fred had managed a credit union an was a community organizer.
He came to Maine in 1998 and
enrolled in the University of Maine’s Spatial Information Science and
Engineering program.
He graduated cum laude in 2003
and worked as an apprentice under Terry Leighton.
He qualified for his
professional license in 2006 and began his own practice shortly afterward.
Fred has been a member of the
Maine Society of Land Surveyors
since
joining as a student in 2002.
He is active in the Midcoast
Chapter.
He brings to the ExCom board
his prior experience in management and accounting.
Fred lives in Boothbay with
his wife, Tilly.
He helps out with Habitat for
Humanity and is a member of his local chamber of commerce.
For fun Fred works part time
for the local cinema as a projectionist.
He is also an avid gardener,
enjoys reading and cooking.

Constitution:
ARTICLE V: Officers and Directors Section 1. The officers of
the Society shall consist of a President, a Vice President, a Secretary
and a Treasurer. The Board of Directors shall consist of two (2)
at-large Directors and one (1) director from Local Chapters organized in
accordance with Article IV, and a Governor from M.S.L.S. to the National
Society of Professional Surveyors.
ARTICLE VI: Administration. Section 1.
Executive Committee: The management of the Society's business and fiscal
affairs shall be vested in the Executive Committee, restricted in its
actions only by the Constitution and By-laws of the Society. The
Executive Committee shall be responsible to the membership for its acts
and shall fully report the same at all general membership meetings.
Section 2. The Executive Committee
shall be constituted as follows: the President shall hold the Chair; the
Vice President shall hold the Vice-Chair; the Secretary shall be the
Secretary; the Treasurer; the immediate past president; and the Board of
Directors of the Society. A vacancy on the Committee by the immediate
Past President shall be filled by the next immediate Past President.
