Gregory J. Copeland, President, began his surveying career by chance with F.J. Hesketh and Associates in Bloomfield Connecticut in 1984. When he applied for a drafting job, he was offered a position on the survey crew instead and hasn't looked back.

Upon moving to Maine in 1993, Gregory has enjoyed employment with the City of Biddeford's Engineering Department, and is currently the Engineering Programs Manager, GIS Coordinator. His position with the City incorporates the use of both surveying and GIS. He attended the former Hartford State Technical College in Connecticut, and earned his Maine Professional Land Surveyor’s license in 1995.

A former associate member of the Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors, Gregory has been a member of MSLS since 1996 where he has served as Director-at-Large from 2007-2009 and Vice President from 2011-13. He is a past Chairman of the Maine GIS Users Group and was appointed to a 3-year term as a member of The State of Maine Library of Geographic Information Board in 2007.

Vice President Keith Morse

Keith Morse, PLS, served in the US Army after graduating from high school. Honorably discharged from the Army, he then attended Unity College where he earned an associates degree. He continued his education at the University of Maine at Orono graduating in 1983 with a bachelors degree in Forestry Management. In 1984, Keith started his surveying career at R. P. Titcomb Associates in Falmouth as a field technician. While there he advanced to project supervisor and obtained his land surveyors license in 1990. In 1992 he started JKL Land Surveying, named after his three daughters, Jennifer, Kelly and Lindsey.

Keith has been a member of the Maine Society of Land Surveyors since 1992. At the local chapter he served as secretary and treasurer for several years. He then served on the Executive Committee as
Director of the Androscoggin Chapter before becoming Director-at-Large in 2011. He has served on local town committees, and is currently on the Mechanic Falls planning board.

In his spare time Keith officiates as a softball umpire and a basketball referee for the area junior and senior high schools. He enjoys fly fishing at Allagash Lake and spending time with his four grandchildren. Keith resides in Mechanic Falls with his wife, Kathy, of 32 years.

Secretary Kevin Farrar
Kevin Farrar began his career in land surveying with Technical Services, Inc. in 1986 upon receiving his Associates Degree in Architectural and Civil Engineering Technology from Central Maine Community College in Auburn. He earned his professional surveyors license in 1991 and he currently works for Summit Geoengineering Consultants in Lewiston.

He has been a member of the Maine Society of Land Surveyors from 1987-present and Androscoggin Chapter, MSLS, 1989-present. Kevin has served as Secretary for MSLS Executive Committee, 2000 - present and was Androscoggin Chapter President in 1992.

Kevin resides in Lewiston with his wife, Eve. Children include Matthew, Megan, Kelly, Gabriella and Victoria. Hobbies include traveling, cooking, and working for a stock car racing touring series.

Treasurer George Bouchles

George Bouchles, PLS, LSE, CSI began his Land Surveying career in 1970 and has been involved in all aspects of the Land Surveying business from Mortgage Loan Inspections to Land Title Surveys ever since. Currently he’s the owner of CADmaster Drafting, Land Surveying and Septic Design located in Auburn providing Land Surveying, Septic System Designs and CAD drafting services to other Land Surveyors and Engineers.

He’s been a member of MSLS for a number of years, served as President and Secretary/ Treasurer and Director of the Androscoggin Chapter.

He lives in Auburn with his 18 year old son and spends his free time riding his Harley and traveling.
